A MEDITERRANEAN PARADISE ISLAND

BEACHES AND COVES

If there is one thing that characterises the Mediterranean Sea, it is the paradisiacal beauty of its coasts. In Menorca you will find those beaches and coves that appear in films and on postcards. Discover beaches of white sand and crystal-clear waters and enjoy the Mediterranean sun on your holidays on the island.

Very close to the hotel you will find Son Bou beach. But we also recommend other coves for you to explore the island. These are some of the most famous coves on the island: Cala Mitjana, Calas Macarella and Macarelleta, Cala Trebalúger, Cala Turqueta, Cala Galdana, Cala Pilar and Cala Blanca.

MAIN CITIES OF MENORCA

CIUTADELLA AND MAÓ

If you come on holiday to the island of Menorca, you cannot leave without a visit to the two main towns.

Ciutadella, known in Spanish as Ciudadela, is located in the west of the island and is undoubtedly one of the most charming small towns in the country.

On the other hand, Maó, also known as Mahón, is the capital of Menorca and is where the airport is located. We recommend that you take a stroll through its urban area and enjoy its picturesque streets and, why not, a day's shopping in its commercial areas.

EL MONTE TORO AND LA NAVETA DES TUDONS

EXCURSIONS

Menorca is a very flat island, with very little altitude. However, if you like the mountains, we recommend a visit to Monte Toro. It is the highest point of the island and from there, you can enjoy wonderful views of the coast of Menorca.

You can take a hike along the trails. The most popular trail starts in Fornells and after 8 kilometres you will reach the summit, where you will find the Santuario de la Virgen del Toro, Patron Saint of the island of Menorca.

If you like history, on the other hand, we recommend a visit to the megalithic tombs of Menorca, known as Naveta des Tudons. A Menorcan Stonehenge of around 3,000 years old.

MAGICAL SUNSETS ON THE CLIFFS OF MENORCA

COVA D'EN XOROI

One of the activities par excellence and also one of the most famous places on the island of Menorca, visited by all tourists, is La Cova d'en Xoroi.

It is one of the most magical places in Menorca to witness a unique sunset. It is a live music club, with a privileged location between the cliffs and where you can enjoy a good cocktail. A unique experience which, of course, requires prior booking. Come and join us!

PICTURESQUE VILLAGES ON THE ISLAND OF MENORCA

VISIT THE VILLAGES

If you like to explore the countryside when you go on holiday, one of the things you have to do if you are in Menorca is to travel along its roads to visit the most emblematic villages on the island. We recommend some of them.

Alaior, or Alayor, is the village where our hotel is located. It is a village in the interior of the island and only 15/20 minutes from the capital. It is a village of great tradition and historical culture.

One of the most famous: Binibèquer. A small village with white houses and located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. A small quiet fishing village with a great historical tradition. One of the most beautiful places to take some pictures during your holidays in Menorca.
